I decided to do this because of recent events and just personal issues that’s led me to think about it. 

John Cena - probably the most controversial superstar in the TWC. Yeah, well, he’s my hero. He means a lot to me, and I don’t care how silly that sounds. All of you have a hero, right?

It’s not so much the character he portrays on television as it is the John Cena that we don’t see on a weekly basis. I have so much fucking respect for him that I don’t even think I can put it into words.

He gets heat for all his “five year old” fans, but every time I see him put a smile on their faces and I watch them light up instantly.. I gain more respect. For example, he does Make-A-Wish. It is probably the most beautiful, inspiring thing I have ever seen. Watching those children react whenever they meet him, or anyone else, brings tears to my eyes. What’s so bad about that?

All I know is that he does EVERYTHING for this business. He puts his life on the line - just like everyone else - for this business, and if that’s not enough to gain your respect, then I don’t know what will. He does everything for us; fans of him or not. He does his best to entertain us. Even if he isn’t feeling 100% himself, he still puts out with 100% effort.

This is going to sound cliché as hell, but he taught us to never give up.. and I try to live by that every day. I love him so much and if he ever found out how much he means to me and how much, with his help, wrestling has helped me through things.. I would just die.

He makes millions of people happy: girls, boys, men, and women of all ages. So before you start to judge and trash talk what you see on television, look through all that. Look through to the John Cena that I see, the John Cena that I know you would love and respect.

I’m in no means saying he’s an angel or perfect, but he’s my hero.. and that’s perfect enough for me.
